Hi Calvin, thanks for your questions! For some extra context - here is an explanation from Tiago Forte on the difference between Areas and Resources:

"Areas are areas of RESPONSIBILITY. They are the hats you wear, the spheres in which the buck stops with you, where you can’t let the ball drop. I am responsible for my health, finances, blog, business, family, friendships, etc.

Resources, on the other hand, are about interests, not responsibilities. You don’t count these topics as essential parts of your life, they aren’t roles you fulfil, there is no buck to stop, and you can let the ball drop if needed. For me, things like web design, branding, crowdfunding, stock photos, etc."

You shouldn't have overlap between Areas and Resources. If a Resource becomes an active part of your life, you make it an Area. That will avoid confusion on where to store things as well.
